East Renfrewshire moves into Phase 2
As East Renfrewshire moves into Phase 2 of Remembering Together, Phase 1 artist Donna Rutherford has been taking a much closer look at five potential sites for her unique version of water-powered mantra mills/ prayer wheels. Donna says, ‘During last week's blast of real summer weather, we documented each site, while specifically interested in the public views from a distance; access leading up to viewpoints; access to the actual water drop for installing; surrounding terrain, manmade (stone or iron) structures that may be utilised and the consistency of water flow.’
